Episode 1)
You will be asking yourself why is my life so dramatic? Let me tell you why? My zodiac sign reads so. My love for everything is too huge. I see positivity in all things. I see beauty where there is ugly and light where there is darkness. I trust people a lot and always believe they don't have any reason to hurt me as long as I don't dream of hurting them. But I'm always wrong. People will always hurt you especially when you don't see it coming. I take time in a relationship before I commit. I respect my body even though I'm a man. I don't fuck any girl I see because sex doesn't move me. But love does move me. And this prostitute by name Gold really got into my heart. Pay attention.
I lived with my godfather in Abuja for some months. Then I was younger and inexperienced. Those times I stayed with my godfather was another dramatic moments of my life. Now another reason you must learn is this; if you are like a chick who go about thinking that a snake is a play toy for you, the snake will use you for dinner. Gold was a prostitute and a clever one at that. While I stayed with my godfather in Abuja I published another book. I sold the books very well and I was buoyant enough. I was always with a man who made Nani Boi what he is today and he loved telling me stories of his early love life. I love hearing people's experiences and that's why I learn a great deal. One night...
One night something happened. I was leaving a restaurant where I ate because my godfather traveled that night and he wasn't coming back until after a week. A girl was dragging a balance with an Hausa bike man who was trying to tear the lady's cloth to pieces. I stood there watching and I found out that the lady wasn't reaching or threatening the Hausa man. Believe me, in Abuja don't even try to hit an Hausa man, because the whole Hausa people around will roast you alive. I approached the Hausa man and asked. "How much is your money?" "My muoni izz hondreed nera. I say mak I balance am pepty nera I dey craze?" Before this Hausa man finished saying my face was full of his spit.
"Okay no balance am. Carry the money dey go" I said to the bike man who kept on cursing the lady as he drove off. The Lady stood there adjusting her cloth. I gave her a clean 500 naira note and turned to go but she stopped me. "Thank you very much. That man is mad. I told him to... " its alright. Let him go" I stopped her from explaining and tried to leave again but she stopped me again. The girl was not too tall but she fine. She brought out her old Nokia touch and said, "abeg let me have your number. I want to thank you special on a good day" she said. I gave her my digit and left.
She never called until after two days. I recognised her voice when she explained herself. "Is this your number? I will save it then" I said but she responded immediately. "Are you less busy. I'm at Maraba head bridge. Why not come there let's see" she said. I waited for sometime before she added, "I just want us to know each other more; the man who saved me from the beast" she said and laughed. I was lonely in the house and I didn't have any friend. This girl might just be my first friend in Maraba. I said to myself as I got up and got ready in my expensive attire. I entered bike down to the bridge. I saw her standing there and I realised that she was extremely beautiful. More beautiful now.
