The King of Abiam was fully enraged as he continued to hit the prison guards to the ground one after the other with his Staff of office.
"You cowards!!!" You let a mere girl slip from the dungeon!!!
One of the Prison guards knelt and explained what happened. "Your Highness, she was covered with flames. My eyes saw what I had never seen before. She was full of strength and we helplessly escaped"
The High Priest chuckled. "The Seer has decided her fate your Highness. Dike's mother has given her strength to Onwem. No doubt that Onwem is now very powerful and even my magic may not be able...
" Quite!!!, The King cut in angrily, Bring me The Seer!!!
Dike's mother was dragged to the king and the King drew his sword. "I have respected you all these years but now you betray me by giving your strength to my enemy. Is there any last word from you?
The Seer was quite. The Priest tried to stop the King but The King was in rage and uncontrollable. The Officials all went down to their kneels begging the King to spare The Seer.
One of the officials reminded the king that Dike has gotten himself loyal kingdoms that will support him if he were to start a war by killing Dike's mother. Dike's mother simply said to the King " My son will rise beyond expectations. Even you will only be a page in his story book"
This made the King mad and he brought down the sword on her neck. Nneoma's head rolled and stopped in front of the High Priest.
"High Priest, the King was saying. Summon the Three Wizards from Odemi, give them the Seer's head for fortification" he turned to the general. "Prepare the Battalion to match to Icho"
The Three Wizards from Odemi were already watching the whole movement in Abiam with their magic spell. They were ready to help the King of Abiam but they were scared of one thing and that was the Sacred Tiger with Onwem. It was the same tiger that drove the three of them out of Abiam because of their evil practices. But they heard the king of Abiam promise them the head of The Seer for fortification and that gave them hope. They set off to Abiam.
On her way to Icho, Onwem felt it within her that Dike's mother was dead. She immediately cast a spell and saw exactly how the king cut her head and the battalion on the match to Icho. She cried bitterly while the Sacred Tiger watched the beautiful girl. She cried to her fill and stood up to continue with her journey but what she saw before her made her tremble, the three palace guards the King sent to Icho stood before her.
A minute later and the palace guards were seen kneeling and pledging their loyalty to Onwem.
She commanded them to escort her to Icho and they obeyed at once.
