Episode 23

The people of the sea were preparing to run to the king of Ideje's aid in his camp. It was no longer news that the trolls were dominating the earth and their prophetess was a lady. The ruler of the sea people mounted his horse and rode off. At his back were thousands of sea warriors heavily armed.

In the camp of the king of Ideje, he was already a prisoner of war. Thousands of his men had been butchered to death. He sat with his hands tied behind him with a rope. The young Queen was seated on her horse as she continued to look at the King of Ideje. Her giant trolls stood beside her.
"Do you know why you must die?" Asked the Queen.
"I sent soldiers to kill the people of Oguma" said the King.

"No. You killed the mother to the general who rescued me from the palace of Oguma. I love him and I will kill for him" she said and dismounted from her horse. Just then a terrible sound was heard and thousands of sea people came galloping towards them. The terrible battle continued. The trolls in the palace of Oguma made their way to the camp of the king of Ideje to support their own against the Sea people. The sea people were terrified to see more trolls descending on the camp. They lost hope and got killed mercilessly. The young general and the Prophetess rode up the valleys just before the camp of the King of Ideje and were shocked to watch the fierce battle.

"My daughter has lost her senses" cried the Prophetess.
"Hold me tight" said the general. The Prophetess held him from behind tightly and the general kicked the horse so hard and they descended with full force on the battle ground. The general drew his sword and was killing the trolls. The Queen saw him and her heart started beating faster.  "He is killing our men" said one of the giant trolls beside the Queen.
"Should we stop him?" Another giant troll asked the Queen.
"No , leave him" said the Queen emotionally.

The general reached where the Queen was standing and stopped his horse. The Queen saw her mother hiding behind the general and said, " you brought my mother with you? "
"I want peace. Your mother wants you to stop. I want you to stop" said the general.
"I'm sorry" the Queen broke down in tears.
"Tell them to stop the fight" said the general.

The Queen gave the giant trolls a signal and the giants stopped the army of trolls from fighting.

"Command your men to stand down" said the Queen to the king of Ideje.

The King ordered his soldiers to stand down and they obeyed at once. The ruler of the sea people also commanded his men to stand down and they obeyed.

A moment later, the Camp was deserted. The trolls had gone back to their caves awaiting their Prophetess to summorn them again if she needed them. The Sea army had gone back home, leaving their ruler in the camp to have a meeting with the Prophetess, the Queen, the King of Ideje and the young general in one of the tents. The Ideje army had gone home as well. Only few soldiers of the sea people, few soldiers of the king of ideje and the giant trolls remained to protect their commanders during the meeting.
Inside the tent, the Queen was seated beside the young general. The King of Ideje buried his head on his palms remorsefully. The Prophetess was seated and staring at her daughter with tears in her eyes. The meeting was ended. The general had forgiven the King of Ideje for killing his mother, assured the Queen that nothing would stop him from loving her, accepted the prophetess's blessings on him and kissed the Queen right on the lips to declare his intention to marry her.

THE END.
