Episode 11
The king of Oguma could not sleep without his young wife. He dismissed all his other wives from the palace and slept alone in his chamber. The news the search party he sent after the general who came all the way from Ideje to steal his Queen, the daughter of his Prophetess whom he betrayed her love for him years back and punished her on top by marrying the daughter she bore her late lover who happened to be his most trusted general was disturbing. Somehow he believed the Queen was still alive. He adjusted himself on the bed restlessly as his mind flashed back on that very day the general was to lead the first battalion of his army to war.
The King of Oguma knew that most of his soldiers were becoming more loyal to his general than to him. He invited his general to his chamber before the war and said to him. "Let's have a toast of wine. I believe you will lead my army to this war and bring them back to me victorious. How is your wife?"
"She is fine my lord but she is not yet my wife. She wouldn't want marriage with me. And she is pregnant"
"That's good. But she loves you. Have a drink" the king said and that was how his general drank the poison. "Do you know that your lover was my Ex concubine?" The king asked after the general had drunk the poisoned wine. "No my lord" he answered.
"Its alright. May the gods protect you and all the soldiers you will be going to this war with" said the king. The general bowed worriedly and left the tent. He didn't get to see his lover again. He died before the war. The lady in Question after giving birth to her daughter decided to submit herself to the deity and became a prophetess. The king watched closely as the prophetess's daughter whom was believed to be the daughter of the late general who served the king of Oguma very well grew taller and beautiful each day. He decided to have her abducted to him and got married to her without her mother's blessings. The prophetess begged for a meeting with the king of Oguma to no aveil.
The King adjusted himself on his bed again and screamed. His guards came running inside. "You all should go to the cliff and find my wife. Go to the tunnels. Don't fear the trolls that nest there. Go into the mouth of a lion if you must. Find my wife. Now!!!" The guards ran out to do as he commanded.
In Ideje, the king was preparing for the war and in the shrine, the prophetess was preparing to escape.
In the tunnels where the general and the Queen were, there was total darkness.
