The King of Ideje had already sent ten of his most deadly soldiers who were best known for killing, to go and lay on ambush for the young general and the Queen he went to rescue from Oguma whom he was sneaking into the palace of Ideje, to capture them and bring them to the throne to receive their sentences. The ten soldiers laid on ambush and waited patiently. Not long before the young general emerged from the mountains, heading to gates of the palace of Ideje. The soldiers ran out from their hiding and surrounded them with spears. The Queen was scared as she held the general tight from the back.

"What is this?" The general asked.

"Our King orders us to bring you in" one of the dangerous soldiers said.

The young general looked back at the Queen who was still clutching on him and she shook her head. He dismounted from the horse and approached the soldier that spoke. "Who told the king that I was away?"

"The King knows everything. That is why he is king. Do not resist arrest sir or we will be forced to...

"Kill me? Like the king ordered you and your men to raid my mother's village and butcher her? Like he ordered you to make a skull out of her head to serve as the cup for his wine? Or do you think the king is the only one that knows things?" The young general sounded angrily.

"I only follow orders" said the soldier but the young general was not ready to follow them. He already knew what the King of Ideje had in store for him if he was to go to the throne room. He said, "I want you to return to the king and tell him that you didn't see me. I will turn this horse around and leave Ideje"

"We can't let you go Sir... Before the soldier could finish speaking the young general had used the head of his sword to knuck him down to the dirt. The rest of the men positioned their spears to attack the young general. He said to them, " go back to your king and tell him you didn't see me or he will not set his eyes on you all again"

The soldier he struck down shouted from where he laid, "Attack him!!!"

The soldiers descended on the young general and the Queen covered her eyes and prayed.

In the shrine of Ideje, the prophetess continued to pray. In the throne room, the king of Ideje continued to wait.
